                   A RESOLUTION GRANTING THE APPROVAL OF A
                   SPECIAL PERMIT TO AMEND AN INSTITUTIONAL
                   PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT ON A TRACT OF LAND
                   LOCATED AT 407 PALMETTO STREET, BEING ON THE
                   NORTHWEST LINE OF PALMETTO STREET AT EAST 5TH
                   STREET.

              	   BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
         CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the approval of a Special Permit 
to
         amend an Institutional Planned Unit Development attached hereto 
be
         and the same is hereby approved for the following tract of 
land:
               
                A tract of land located in at 407 Palmetto Street,
                being on the northwest line of Palmetto Street at
                East 5th Street.  Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 14, 15, and 16,
                Tades Addition, not recorded, and lots A, B, C, D,
                and E, Gardenhire Tract, not recorded; being the
                properties described in deed book 3081, page 603,
                ROHC, deed book 3081, page 615, ROHC, deed book
                2593, page 588, ROHC, and part of the property
                described in deed book 2688, page 157, ROHC.  Tax
                Map No. 146A-F-7-9.
